Very nice black light art on canvas!

Basti Fantasti was born in 1978 near Dresden and grew up in beautiful Saxony. After several craftsman's trainings he is now active as an independent design model builder for over 12 years . Here he was part of the team that created the Porsche 918 Spyder.
To be able to live out his creativity without any limits he tried his hand at painting some time ago thanks to a friend - his credo from the beginning was "Colours are life and creativity is boundless".
It simply can't be colourful enough for Basti Fantasti , which is why his focus is on UV inks. He sees the special feature in UV inks in the fact that each picture represents practically 2 pictures: The "normal" one, which one sees with daylight as well as the hidden one, which reveals itself only with the irradiation by UV light. In his opinion, art should not be limited to styles or procedures, which is why he prefers to reinvent his own art - he loves to experiment with different materials, Basti Fantasti takes his inspiration from nature: "Nature gives us all the colours there are!".
If you ask him what he particularly appreciates about painting, it is time. Time for himself, time to think, time to relax and above all time to discover.
As a freedom-loving person he sees art as boundless freedom and an opportunity to bring completely different people together. For as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said: "If it is a joy to enjoy the good, it is a greater joy to feel the better, and in art the best is good enough."
